RTT® Hypnotherapy
Rapid Transformational Therapy
You've done the work. You understand your patterns. And there's still something that won't shift, a belief, a response, a way of reacting that keeps showing up no matter how much insight you have. That's where RTT® works differently.

What RTT® actually is
Rapid Transformational Therapy is a structured hypnotherapy process that works with your subconscious mind, where your automatic patterns actually live.
Your thinking brain holds your insights and intentions. Your subconscious holds the beliefs that were formed earlier, often much earlier, and it runs the show whether your conscious mind agrees or not. That's why you can understand exactly why you react a certain way and still do it. The pattern isn't stored where logic can reach it.
RTT® uses a deeply relaxed state, theta brainwave activity, the same state you're in just before sleep, to access those patterns at their source. We identify where a belief came from, reframe the meaning that was made at the time, and install a new belief that fits your life now. It works through neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to form new pathways, which is why the changes tend to hold rather than fade.
It's not mystical, and it's not stage hypnosis. You're aware throughout, you can't be made to do anything you don't want to do, and you're in control of the process.
Common patterns people bring to RTT®:
Stress and burnout You know you need to stop, but your system won't let you. Slowing down feels dangerous. Rest feels like falling behind. Your cortisol stays elevated no matter what you try, and the burnout keeps deepening because rest alone was never going to fix what's driving it.
Anxiety and overthinking There's no obvious reason for it, but the dread is always there. You scan for problems before they exist. You replay conversations for hours. Your brain won't switch off at night, and no amount of logic settles the feeling that something is about to go wrong.
Weight and eating patterns You know what to eat. That was never the problem. The pattern runs deeper than nutrition. Reaching for food when you're not hungry, eating to manage a feeling you can't name, losing weight and watching it return. Willpower doesn't reach the layer where this lives.
Anger and reactivity You snap at the people closest to you over things that don't warrant it, then feel terrible about it afterwards. The reaction fires before your thinking brain catches up. You know it's disproportionate, but knowing doesn't stop it happening.
Confidence and self-worth You've achieved plenty, but it never feels like enough. The imposter feeling persists despite evidence to the contrary. You hold yourself back from things you want, and you can see the self-sabotage clearly but can't seem to stop it.
Standalone RTT® is for anyone who wants to target a specific subconscious pattern that keeps showing up despite everything else they've tried.
Whether that's anxiety, stress eating, anger, weight, confidence, or a stress response that won't downregulate, the process is the same. We find where the belief was formed, and we change it.
What Happens in a Session?
Sessions are 90 minutes via Zoom.
Before the session, we'll have a discovery call to talk through what you want to work on, take a brief history, and make sure RTT® is appropriate for where you are.
In the session itself, I'll guide you into a deeply relaxed state of focused awareness. From there we go back to the experiences that formed the pattern, understand what belief was made at the time, and reframe it. The session ends with the installation of a new belief that you've chosen - one that supports your life now rather than the one you needed to survive then.
After the session, you receive a personalised transformation recording, typically 10–15 minutes in length, that reinforces the new belief. You listen to it daily for at least 21 days. This is the part most people underestimate. The session shifts the pattern, and the recording is what makes it stick. Repetition is how the subconscious consolidates change.
Patterns Like These Have a Root Belief
Whether it's anxiety, weight, anger, or burnout, these patterns share something in common: they're not caused by a lack of knowledge or discipline. You already know what you should be doing. The problem is that your subconscious holds a belief that was formed long before your conscious mind had any say in the matter, and that belief is still running the show.
Someone who can't stop stress eating often isn't hungry. Their nervous system learned early that food meant safety or comfort, and it still reaches for that strategy under pressure. Someone whose anger flares disproportionately isn't choosing to react that way. Their system learned that control or aggression was the safest response to feeling threatened, and it fires before the thinking brain catches up.
Someone whose cortisol stays elevated despite meditation, supplements, and lifestyle changes isn't doing it wrong. Their nervous system is responding to a perceived threat that was learned years ago, and no amount of surface-level intervention reaches the layer where that programme lives.
RTT® works at that layer. We find where the belief was formed, understand why it made sense at the time, and update it so your nervous system can respond to your actual life instead of a version of it that no longer exists.
Many of the patterns people bring to RTT® share a common physiological thread: chronically elevated cortisol.
Cortisol is your primary stress hormone. In short bursts, it's useful, sharpening focus, mobilising energy, helping you respond to real demands. But when your nervous system is stuck in a protective state, cortisol stays elevated day after day, week after week. That sustained elevation drives a cascade of symptoms most people treat separately without realising they share the same root cause.
Persistent anxiety and racing thoughts, disrupted sleep (particularly waking between 2am and 4am), weight gain around the midsection that doesn't respond to diet or exercise, irritability and a short fuse, brain fog, fatigue that rest doesn't fix, gut problems, suppressed immune function.
The Cortisol Connection.
If you've had your cortisol tested and been told it's high, or if you recognise this cluster of symptoms, the question isn't just how to lower cortisol. It's what's keeping it elevated in the first place.
The answer, often, is a subconscious belief or pattern that keeps your nervous system locked in threat mode. Your body isn't producing excess cortisol for no reason. It's responding to something it learned to perceive as dangerous, usually long before you had any say in the matter. RTT® targets that perception directly. When the root shifts, the stress response can finally downregulate, and cortisol levels follow.
This isn't a replacement for medical care. If you're experiencing symptoms of high cortisol, see your GP. But if you've already explored the medical side and the pattern persists, the missing piece may be at the subconscious level.
The beliefs that drive your nervous system's responses were mostly formed a long time ago, often in childhood, often before you had the language or perspective to question them.
This is also why these patterns can show up in the people closest to you. You might recognise your own nervous system in how your children respond to stress, or notice that your reactions in certain situations mirror ones you grew up watching. The nervous system learns from its environment, and the patterns shaped in your family of origin often become the patterns you carry into everything else. That's not a coincidence, and it's not a character flaw. It's how nervous systems learn.
Where Most Patterns Come From
In a session, we go back to where a belief was formed, not to relive the experience but to understand what meaning your nervous system made of it at the time, and to reframe that meaning.

What RTT® draws on
RTT® was developed by Marisa Peer, drawing on decades of clinical work with a wide range of presenting issues. It combines several established approaches into one structured process.
Hypnotherapy provides the relaxed state that allows access to the subconscious. Regression work identifies where a belief or pattern was formed. Parts work and psychotherapeutic techniques help make sense of what's there and update the meaning your system made of it. CBT and NLP inform how new beliefs are installed and reinforced. And the personalised recording applies the principle of neuroplasticity, because repetition is how the subconscious consolidates change.
The result is an approach that moves faster than most, because it's working directly at the level where the pattern is held rather than talking about it from the outside.
