RTT® Hypnotherapy

Rapid Transformational Therapy

You've done the work. You understand your patterns. And there's still something that won't shift — a belief, a response, a way of reacting that keeps showing up no matter how much insight you have.

That's not a failure of effort. That's where RTT® comes in.

What RTT® actually is

Rapid Transformational Therapy is a structured hypnotherapy process that works with your subconscious mind — where your automatic patterns actually live.

Your thinking brain holds your insights and intentions. Your subconscious holds the beliefs that were formed earlier, often much earlier, and it runs the show whether your conscious mind agrees or not. That's why you can understand exactly why you react a certain way and still do it. The pattern isn't stored where logic can reach it.

RTT® uses a deeply relaxed state — theta brainwave activity, the same state you're in just before sleep — to access those patterns at their source. We identify where a belief came from, reframe the meaning that was made at the time, and install a new belief that actually fits your life now. It works through neuroplasticity — the brain's ability to form new pathways — which is why the changes tend to hold rather than fade.

It's not mystical. It's not stage hypnosis. You're aware throughout, you can't be made to do anything you don't want to do, and you're in control of the process.

Standalone RTT® works best for people who've already done some therapeutic or nervous system work and want to target a specific subconscious pattern — one that keeps surfacing despite everything else they've tried.

If you haven't done any previous therapeutic or nervous system work, the EMBODY programme is likely a better starting point — it builds the foundation that makes RTT® more effective and integrates it alongside nervous system regulation.

Common patterns people bring to RTT®:

— "I can't slow down without everything falling apart"

— "Rest feels like laziness or failure"

— "I have to manage everything or it will all go wrong"

— "I'm only safe when I'm in control"

— "I'm not enough unless I'm performing"

— Chronic anxiety that doesn't have an obvious cause

— Reactivity that feels disproportionate and hard to shift

— Self-sabotage patterns that insight alone hasn't touched

Sessions are 90 minutes via Zoom.

Before the session, we'll have a discovery call to talk through what you want to work on, take a brief history, and make sure RTT® is appropriate for where you are.

In the session itself, I'll guide you into a deeply relaxed state of focused awareness. From there we go back to the experiences that formed the pattern, understand what belief was made at the time, and reframe it. The session ends with the installation of a new belief that you've chosen — one that supports your life now rather than the one you needed to survive then.

What Happens in a Session?

After the session, you'll receive a personalised transformation recording — typically 10-15 minutes in length — that reinforces the new belief. You listen to it daily for at least 21 days. This is the part most people underestimate the value of. The session shifts the pattern; the recording is what makes it stick. Repetition is how the subconscious consolidates change.

She is incredibly understanding, compassionate, and attentive. She took the time to truly listen and made me feel completely supported and valued throughout the entire process. Her thoughtful and personalised approach made the experience feel so meaningful and empowering.

I’m so grateful for the care, kindness, and dedication she brought to the session. It was a genuinely uplifting experience, and I came away feeling clear. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking positive and lasting change.

Where Most Patterns Come From

The beliefs that drive your nervous system's responses were mostly formed a long time ago — often in childhood, often before you had the language or perspective to question them.

Not necessarily from dramatic events. Sometimes it's subtler than that. The family environment where rest felt irresponsible, so you learned that staying busy meant staying safe. The dynamic where love felt conditional on performance, so your nervous system built "I'm only okay when I'm achieving" as a survival strategy. The household where conflict was unpredictable, so hypervigilance became the default — scanning for threat, managing everyone's mood, never quite relaxing.

These aren't character traits. They're protective patterns your nervous system built because, at the time, they worked. The problem is that the version of you that needed those strategies isn't the version living your life now. But your body hasn't updated. The pattern still runs on automatic, still shapes how you respond to stress, criticism, rest, relationships — often in ways that feel completely out of proportion to what's actually happening.

This is also why these patterns can show up in the people closest to you. You might recognise your own nervous system in how your children respond to stress. Or notice that your reactions in certain situations mirror ones you grew up watching. The nervous system learns from its environment — and the patterns shaped in your family of origin often become the patterns you carry into everything else. You might notice that the way you react under pressure looks a lot like patterns you grew up watching. That's not a coincidence, and it's not a character flaw. It's how nervous systems learn.

RTT works directly with this layer. In a session, we go back to where a belief was formed — not to relive the experience, but to understand what meaning your nervous system made of it at the time, and to reframe that meaning. The pattern was a reasonable response to the environment you were in. It doesn't have to be the response you carry forever.

This isn't the same as trauma therapy or psychological treatment — it's working with the subconscious beliefs and protective patterns your nervous system formed, so they stop running your present-day reactions.

What RTT draws on

RTT was developed by British therapist Marisa Peer, drawing on decades of clinical work with a wide range of presenting issues. It combines several established approaches into one structured process:

Hypnotherapy provides the relaxed state that allows access to the subconscious. Regression work identifies where a belief or pattern was formed. Parts work and psychotherapeutic techniques help make sense of what's there and update the meaning your system made of it. CBT and NLP inform how new beliefs are installed and reinforced. And the personalised recording applies the principle of neuroplasticity — repetition is how the subconscious consolidates change.

The result is an approach that moves faster than most because it's working directly at the level where the pattern is held, not just talking about it from the outside.
