WHEN INSIGHT ISN’T ENOUGH
You understand your patterns. You can name what triggers you and why. You've probably explained your own psychology to more than one therapist. And in the moments that matter, your body still does the thing.
The pattern isn't stored where your insight is. It's held deeper, in subconscious beliefs your nervous system learned before you had language for them. Understanding uses your thinking brain, and the belief isn't kept there. That's what EMBODY is built to address.
HOW EMBODY WORKS
RTT® leads the work. Regulation holds the change.
Two full RTT® sessions
The core of EMBODY. We find where a belief formed, understand the meaning your system made of it, and reframe it. The first session often surfaces a second layer; the week-10 session addresses it and consolidates the change.
Nervous system regulation
Retraining that helps your body hold the change in your sleep, your reactions, the moments that used to take you over. A personalised toolkit matched to your specific pattern, built from a clinical assessment in weeks 1 and 2.
Real-time state identification
You learn to read your system better, so you can match the right tool to the right moment rather than defaulting to 'calm down', deep breathing and hoping. Clear, observable indicators. Nothing abstract.
THE MECHANISM
Your window of tolerance
Your nervous system has a sweet spot: a range where you can handle stress, feel emotions, and think clearly without being overwhelmed or shutting down. Push outside it and you tip into hyperarousal (wired, racing, reactive) or hypoarousal (numb, shut down, exhausted). Outside the window, your thinking brain goes offline.
For most people running on chronic stress, the window has narrowed over years. It doesn't take much to push you out of it anymore. A single critical email, one difficult conversation.
What EMBODY does: expands your window of tolerance so you can handle bigger emotions, harder conversations, and more pressure without your system taking over. You're not learning to avoid stress. You're building the capacity to handle it.

What changes when you build regulation capacity
You start to feel safe in your body
Signals that used to feel threatening become information you can respond to. You can sense hunger, exhaustion and stress, and meet those signals instead of overriding them.
You show up as yourself in relationships
You stop people-pleasing and freezing. You set boundaries without shutting down. You're not scanning for threat in conversations that aren't threatening.
You respond instead of reacting
A piece of feedback no longer sends you spiralling for days. You feel difficult emotions without being taken over by them. You respond from choice, not autopilot.
You can access energy or calm
Depending on what you need. You're not stuck wired or stuck numb. You move between activation and rest, and rest actually restores you.
THE STRUCTURE
The 10-week pathway
WK 1-3 Map your patterns
Clinical nervous system assessment using validated tools (BPQ-SF and DASS-21). Baseline measures of where your system runs, what states you move between, and what's driving it underneath.
WK 4-6 Build capacity
You develop a personalised regulation toolkit matched to your specific pattern: interoceptive awareness, breathwork, bilateral stimulation, and real-time state identification. The foundation that makes the RTT® work more durable.
WK 7-8 Your first RTT® session
Detailed intake and preparation, then a full 90-minute RTT® session targeting the root belief. You receive a personalised transformation recording to listen to daily for 21 days.
WK 9 Apply it in real life
Working with how the shift is showing up between sessions. What's surfacing, what feels different, and what the second session needs to address.
WK 10 The closing RTT® session
A second 90-minute RTT® session to address any second-layer belief that's surfaced and to consolidate the shift. Second personalised recording.
DAY 21 Post-programme check-in
A follow-up session three weeks after week 10, to review what's held, what's shifting, and adjust your ongoing regulation plan based on where you actually are.

Therapy helps you understand your patterns. EMBODY changes them. Most people in therapy can articulate exactly why they react the way they do, and their body still takes over in meetings, still won't let them sleep, still swings between wired and wiped out. That's because the pattern isn't held where insight reaches. EMBODY finds the root belief keeping your nervous system stuck and changes it using RTT®, then gives you the regulation tools to work with how the pattern shows up in your body.

No. If meditation made you feel worse, that's a sign your nervous system was in shutdown and needed activation, not more stillness. When you're already exhausted, disconnected and foggy, calming techniques tend to drop you deeper in. In EMBODY you learn to read what state your system is actually in and match the right tool to it.

If you're functioning in your career but your body feels like it's working against you, swinging between wired and wiped out, unable to access what you know in the moments that matter, EMBODY is built for that. Weekly 60-minute sessions in weeks 1 to 6 and week 9, two 90-minute RTT® sessions (weeks 7 to 8 and week 10), plus 10 to 15 minutes daily for regulation practice and your RTT® recording. Most clients find they gain time back, because they're no longer losing hours to shutdown, decision paralysis, or overriding their own system.

Nervous system change is gradual. Some people notice shifts within the first few weeks: better sleep, clearer thinking, less reactivity. The RTT® sessions tend to create bigger shifts because we're addressing the subconscious pattern directly. If after week 2 you don't feel EMBODY is right for you, we can discuss a pro-rated refund.

No. EMBODY is a coaching and education programme, not ACC-claimable treatment. ACC covers registered treatment providers for injury-related claims only. This is nervous system education and regulation training, not medical treatment.

Yes. EMBODY is delivered entirely online via Zoom, so you can be anywhere in New Zealand or Australia. All you need is a private space and a reliable internet connection.

We'll talk about where you are right now, what you've already tried, and whether EMBODY is the right next step. I'll explain how the work fits together, we'll identify your current patterns, and I'll tell you whether this programme is the right fit for where you are. If it's not, I'll say so. Sometimes the answer is 'yes, let's start.' Sometimes it's 'let's reconnect in three months.' Both are fine.
