EMBODY is a 10-week 1:1 practice for people who are tired all the time, holding everything, or living in a body that won't switch off. Two RTT® sessions to find the root belief and change it, with nervous system regulation and somatic work to support the change in the body so it holds.

Why the Programme is Built This Way
Two RTT® sessions. The first session shifts the primary pattern and tends to surface a second layer underneath, a related belief or earlier moment that becomes visible once the surface pattern moves. The second session in week 10 addresses that layer and consolidates the change.
Personalised regulation rather than a generic toolkit. The plan you walk out with is built from your own clinical assessment using validated tools (BPQ-SF and DASS-21) which we match to the state your system is actually in.
A self-hypnosis library you keep. Daily repetition is what makes subconscious change hold. EMBODY gives you access to a library of resources and recordings you can use for years.
A 21-day post-programme phone call. Most programmes end at week 10. EMBODY has a follow-up session three weeks later to review what's held, what's still shifting, and adjust your plan based on where you actually are.
When Insight Isn’t Enough
You understand your patterns. You can articulate what triggers you, what you'd like to do differently, and why certain situations set you off. You've probably explained your own psychology to more than one therapist.
And in the moments that matter, your body still does the thing.
That's because the pattern isn't stored where your insight is. It's held deeper, in subconscious beliefs and protective responses your nervous system learned long before you had language for them. No amount of understanding reaches that layer, because understanding uses your thinking brain and the belief isn't stored there.
That's what EMBODY is built to address.
How EMBODY Works
RTT® leads the work. Nervous system regulation holds the change.
RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy®)
The core of EMBODY is two full RTT® sessions. RTT® is a structured hypnotherapy process that works at the subconscious level, where your automatic patterns actually live. We identify where a belief was formed, understand what meaning your system made of it at the time, and reframe it so your nervous system can stop running a programme that doesn't fit your life anymore.
One session isn't always enough. The first RTT® session often surfaces a second layer, a related belief or earlier moment that becomes visible once the primary pattern shifts. The second session in week 10 addresses that layer and consolidates the change.
Nervous system regulation
Regulation tools sit alongside the RTT® work. They help your body hold the change in the weeks that follow, in your sleep, your reactions, the moments that used to take you over. You develop a personalised toolkit matched to your specific nervous system pattern, built from a clinical assessment in weeks 1 and 2.
Real-time state identification
You learn to identify what state your system is actually in, so you can match the right tool to the right moment rather than defaulting to 'calm down' and hoping. Clear, observable indicators. Nothing abstract.
Window Of Tolerance.
Your nervous system has a range where you can handle stress, feel emotions, and think clearly without being overwhelmed or shutting down. This is the window of tolerance, a concept from Dan Siegel's work on interpersonal neurobiology. Outside the window, your thinking brain goes offline and you react automatically.
When stress pushes you outside this window, you move into either hyperarousal (wired, anxious, racing thoughts, reactive) or hypoarousal (numb, shut down, exhausted, disconnected).
For most people running on chronic stress, the window has narrowed over years. Small things now push you outside it that wouldn't have a few years ago.
EMBODY widens the window. Building the capacity to stay regulated through more stress, not avoiding stress.
When the pattern shifts at the root and the body has the tools to hold the change, the things that used to take you over stop running the show. You sleep. You feel hunger and tiredness as information rather than threat. You stop spiralling on a piece of feedback. You can rest and have rest actually restore you. The pattern stops running the day.

A 30-minute Zoom call. We'll talk about where you are now, what you've already tried, and whether EMBODY is the right next step. I'll explain how the work fits together and answer any questions about the structure or the RTT® sessions specifically. Decisions don't get made on the call. Most people take a few days to think about it.

Therapy helps you understand your patterns. EMBODY changes them. Most people in therapy can articulate exactly why they react the way they do, and their body still takes over in meetings, still won't let them sleep, still swings between wired and wiped out. That's because the pattern isn't held where insight reaches. EMBODY finds the root belief keeping your nervous system stuck and changes it using RTT®, then gives you the regulation tools to work with how that pattern has been showing up in your body.

Yes. EMBODY complements therapy - many clients work with therapists for cognitive and emotional processing while doing EMBODY for nervous system regulation. They address different systems. Please inform your therapist about your participation.

No. If meditation made you feel worse, that's a sign your nervous system was in shutdown and needed activation, not more stillness. When you're already in shutdown, exhausted, disconnected, foggy, calming techniques tend to drop you deeper into it. In EMBODY you learn to read what state your system is actually in and match the right tool to it, rather than defaulting to 'calm down' and hoping.

RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy®) uses hypnotherapy to access the subconscious patterns keeping your nervous system stuck. You can understand your triggers intellectually and your body still reacts, because the pattern is stored below conscious awareness. RTT® works at that level. It's not mystical, it's accessing theta brainwave states where subconscious change happens faster. I'm a certified RTT® Practitioner and I use it specifically for the subconscious patterns driving chronic stress, anxiety, and reactivity.

Weeks 1–3: clinical assessment and pattern mapping. We identify what state your system is running in and what's driving it. Weeks 4–6: building regulation capacity, matched to your specific pattern rather than generic tools. Weeks 7–8: the first RTT® session, finding and changing the root belief driving the pattern. Week 9: applying the shift in daily life and tracking what's surfaced. Week 10: the closing RTT® session, addressing any second-layer belief and consolidating the change. Day 21 after the programme closes: a post-programme check-in session to review what's held and adjust.

No. EMBODY is a coaching and education programme, not ACC-claimable treatment. ACC covers registered treatment providers for injury-related claims only. This is nervous system education and regulation training, not medical treatment.

Nervous system change is gradual. Some people notice shifts within the first few weeks, better sleep, clearer thinking, less reactivity. Others take longer. The RTT® sessions in weeks 7–8 and week 10 tend to create bigger shifts because we're addressing the subconscious pattern directly rather than working around it. If after week 2 you don't feel EMBODY is right for you, we can discuss a pro-rated refund.

Weekly 60-minute sessions in weeks 1–6 and week 9, two 90-minute RTT® sessions (weeks 7–8 and week 10), plus 10–15 minutes daily for regulation practice and listening to your RTT® recording. Most clients find they gain time back, because they're no longer losing hours to shutdown, decision paralysis, or overriding their own system.

Yes. EMBODY is delivered entirely online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, so you can be anywhere in New Zealand or internationally. All you need is a private space and reliable internet connection.

We'll talk about where you are right now, what you've already tried, and whether EMBODY is the right next step. I'll explain how the work fits together, we'll identify your current patterns, and I'll tell you whether this programme is the right fit for where you are. If it's not, I'll say so. Sometimes the answer is 'yes, let's start.' Sometimes it's 'let's reconnect in three months.' Both are fine.
